Sat 04 Sep Start of Probationary Members Course 2010/4 (National Shooting Centre (NSC), Bisley)
This course is primarily a course in safe handling and provides an introduction to Target Rifle, Gallery Rifle and Black Powder Pistol. Each course consists of five separate lessons. Sat 11 Sep NRA Open Day (National Shooting Centre (NSC), Bisley)
Our second Open Day will be held on Saturday 11 September 2010. Visitors will be able to try shotgun, air rifle, fullbore rifle, sporting rifle, laser clays, precision snap, practical and historical rifles to name but a few, all with one-to-one coaching.

ALL visitors will be required to pre-register before the day as we will be unable to register visitors on the day.

1. Age restrictions will apply to children under 17 years of age for some shooting activities.

2. All children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult who must sign for them at Registration on the day.

3. All visitors wishing to shoot must purchase vouchers. Vouchers are sold in sheets of 10 vouchers costing £10 per sheet, with a maximum purchase of £20 per person via the internet or on the day. The vouchers can then be redeemed for any of the activities.

4. Everyone attending must produce a valid form of ID and proof of address (eg: Driving Licence plus a Utility bill) in order to collect their tickets on the day.

Candidates should be experienced shooters who have already completed a Club Instructor course. This course covers coaching techniques, and methods of instruction. Candidates will be formally assessed on the range and in the delivery of classroom lesson. Qualified Club Coaches may run NRA Probationary, Skills and Club Instructor Courses.

Sun 21 Nov RCO (HME) Course (National Shooting Centre (NSC), Bisley)
This course is only open to qualified NRA RCOs.

The course is to train RCOs in the zeroing procedures which are now required when ammunition generating a ME greater than 4500 joules is fired on military ranges. This is a half-day course involving both classroom work and an on-range zeroing demonstration. The course is run regularly at Bisley and regionally, on request to the NRA.

NRA Imperial Meeting (National Shooting Centre (NSC), Bisley)
NRA Imperial Meeting. This series of matches is divided up into disciplines with competitions for Service Rifle, Civilian Service Rifle, Cadets, Historic Arms, Schools, Gallery Rifle and Pistol, Match Rifle and Target Rifle. It finishes on the 23 July with the Queens Final followed by Prize Giving.
