Marking - Information

General
Markers are required on a casual basis between March and October. Extra markers are needed for the 'Imperial Meeting' which is a set of competitions held in July (see below).

Pay
Pay is £22.50 per half day (Tuesday to Saturday) or £25 per half day on Sunday. Additional bonuses can be earned during the Imperial Meeting.

Age Restrictions
Due to employment laws, you must be 14 years or older to mark.
At 14 you can only work a half day on Saturdays.
At 15 you can work all day Saturdays.
At 16 you can work all day Saturdays and Sundays.

Training
To work you will be required to come for half a days training (unpaid) on a Saturday morning. Report to the Range Office at 8 am. Full training will be given where all details of the job and safety issues will be addressed. On satisfactory completion of training details will be given on how to book work.

Imperial Meeting
We also require markers for the two weeks of the Imperial Meeting in July. For this period we can only employ over 16 year olds due to the hours of work. Camping sites will be available for those coming to work from outside the local area.
